Our Story

Hey there, we are Justine and Carl, a couple of free spirited artists who live permanently on the road in New Zealand.

We've sold our motel and now live on the road in our trusty bus "The Moog" which we live in full time as we travel around this beautiful country selling our photography and artwork through our online store, at markets, craft fairs and anywhere else we can think of :)

"The Moog" is a 7.5m Carthago A Class motorhome, pretty small for permanent living but we want to be able to get to as many places off the beaten track as possible so the smaller the better. Who needs space anyway :)

He's got heaps of solar power and batteries, gas fired central heating and we've installed a composting toilet so we can stay off the grid for as long as possible and have the smallest impact on the environment that we can. Next addition will be a couple of e-bikes for short journeys to save taking the Moog all of the time.

We blog about this incredibly beautiful country of ours and all of the amazing places that we visit and live along with our trials and tribulations as we eke out a living on the road and the ins and outs of a nomadic lifestyle and tiny house living.
